Hospital ERP System
Integrated hospital management system including patient records, appointments, pharmacy, and medical reports
Problem & Context
The hospital relied on paper records and disconnected legacy systems, causing: (1) duplicate patient data entry at every visit, (2) difficulty tracking patient medical history, (3) medication dispensing errors due to lack of pharmacy integration, (4) billing and insurance claim delays, (5) inability to analyze performance KPIs like average wait times.
Our Solution
We built an integrated system covering: (1) patient management with comprehensive EHR, (2) appointment scheduling, (3) pharmacy with expiry tracking, (4) laboratory with result integration, (5) radiology with PACS integration, (6) billing and insurance claims, (7) HR management for doctors and nurses.
Architecture
Multi-tier web architecture with Next.js frontend, Node.js backend, and PostgreSQL database. Runs on the hospital LAN with remote access for administrative staff. Uses HL7 and FHIR standards for health data exchange.
Security & Performance
Compliant with healthcare information security standards: patient data encryption, role-based access (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, admin), full audit logging, encrypted backups, and data privacy compliance.
